Birds? of a Feather

So, if I were a cat I would want to catch myself a nice tasty bird.  How best to do it?  In disguise, of course.  This ingenious cat has covered himself in feathers.  Thus far, only one bird has an inkling of what is going on.

Like many of the other art quilts that I have made with cats on them this cat is made from fake fur. Of course this one has the added feature of bird feathers. This was one of those silly fun ideas that I came up with that had to be turned into a quilt.
