Metamorphosis

I was having lots of fun making butterflies. These are made from bits of yarn that I stitch to create handmade fabric. Then I cut it to shape and add the black outlines. Each butterfly takes about an hour to make.

The framed pieces is quite large. It measures about 24" x 40".

I enjoyed these so much that I started putting them in little shadowbox frames. These all sold out very quickly.
