Dolphin
Sorry, I was never able to come up with a better title for this piece.
After watching other artists demonstrating their painting techniques I decided to try my hand at painting. The background for this piece is quilted silk to give the water that shimmer. The dolphin is entirely hand painted. I will never to that again. It took me forever to get it just right. And I thought it would be simple.
But, I do like the way it turned out. The finished piece measures about 24" x 24".
