Cobblestone Pathway

My boyfriend and I like to take evening strolls along the pathway behind our house. The evening light was particularly beautiful this day. And while I really like the original image, I took some artistic liberties with my version and changed the pathway to cobblestones.

The image shows the original photograph. Below is a time lapse video of me working on the grass on the left side. You can see how I place each little chunk of grass. And yes, the tool I am using is a miniature iron. Before I cut out the pieces of fabric, I attach a sheet of heat activated glue. The iron is hot enough to melt the glue so the fabric bonds to the canvas. After I lay out all of the grass fabrics I stitch it to blend the colors and to give it a more grass-like texture. 

Here is it framed an hung on the wall. It measures approximately 20" x 24" including the frame.
