Red Boat

This is the first of my California coastal series. It is a small boat at the dock near the tall ship Pilgrim in Dana Point. I really liked the look of the reflection of the boat on the water and I wanted to recreate it in my chosen medium of fabric and thread.

To continue with the nautical theme, I wrapped the edge of the frame in rope.
